The device was placed in a standard user position (seated operator) and the 1/3 octave band sound pressure levels were measured.

The data below demonstrates the overall A-weighted sound pressure level to be 22.9 and 23.3 respectively. Typically, this would be considered an excellent level if we were to only look at a single number. But, remember, this sound has a significant amount of complaints by users.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This data was not very usable to help root cause the source of the complaint sound. It did let us know the energy emission is very low. The only identifiable outlier is the 4000 Hz 1/3 octave band.
